Scope and effective date
This Privacy Policy applies to officefurnitureflow.com, its editorial pages, search function, and contact form. It is effective and was last reviewed on August 29, 2026. It does not control a third-party website reached through an external link.
Office Furniture Flow is intended primarily for a U.S. workplace audience. The information practices below describe the current PHP application and the service providers needed to host and secure it.
Information you submit
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, selected topic, optional page URL, and message. Please do not submit passwords, payment information, government identifiers, confidential contracts, personnel records, proprietary drawings, or other sensitive information.
We do not require an account to read editorial content, and the current site does not offer a newsletter, purchase flow, quotation request, or vendor marketplace.
Technical information
Our web server, hosting provider, or security infrastructure may record technical information when a page is requested. Depending on the provider and configuration, that information may include an IP address, request time, requested URL, referring page, response status, and browser or device information.
When a contact form is submitted, the application stores a keyed one-way hash derived from the requesting IP address to help detect abuse. The hash is a pseudonymous security identifier, not a claim that all request data is anonymous; a raw IP address may still appear in ordinary server or hosting logs.
How we use information
We use information only for operating and protecting the site, recording and investigating editorial or accessibility reports, responding when appropriate, evaluating guide suggestions, preventing spam and abuse, debugging errors, maintaining contact submissions concerning sources and corrections, and meeting applicable legal or security obligations.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website
- Review corrections, sources, privacy requests, and accessibility barriers
- Reply to a submission when follow-up is useful
- Prevent fraud, spam, automated abuse, and security incidents
- Improve the accuracy, structure, and usability of published content
Essential cookies and tracking
The site uses an essential first-party PHP session cookie so the server can protect the contact form against cross-site request forgery. A separate short-lived server-side rate-limit record is keyed to a one-way, secret-keyed hash of the submitting IP address. These controls are not used for advertising or cross-site profiling. The session cookie normally expires when the browser session ends; blocking it may prevent the contact form from working.
As of the effective date, Office Furniture Flow has not enabled Google AdSense, third-party analytics, personalized advertising, embedded social widgets, or cross-site behavioral tracking. Because the site does not currently engage in cross-site behavioral tracking, it does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party sites reached through external links have their own practices.
Advertising or analytics added later
If advertising, analytics, embedded media, or similar third-party services are introduced, we will review and update this policy to describe the relevant data practices. We will also provide any notice, consent mechanism, or opt-out method required for the affected users before or when those services are enabled.
Advertising relationships do not give advertisers access to contact submissions for marketing and do not determine editorial conclusions.
When information may be disclosed
Information may be processed by hosting, database, backup, security, and technical service providers that support the site and are expected to use it only for the services they provide. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse or a security incident, or complete a legitimate organizational transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not provide contact submissions to furniture vendors as sales leads.
Retention
We retain contact submissions concerning sources and corrections, security identifiers, and technical logs only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, security and abuse prevention, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. The period can vary by record type, operational need, service-provider settings, and backup schedule.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, it should be deleted, de-identified, or allowed to expire in accordance with the applicable system and backup process.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information handled by the site. These include form validation, an essential session and anti-forgery token, abuse controls, limited database fields, and production transport security when the site is served over HTTPS.
No website, transmission method, or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. The contact form is not a confidential document-delivery service, so sensitive material should not be submitted through it.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may use the Contact page to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you submitted. We may take reasonable steps to verify the request and may retain information when an applicable exception permits or requires it, including for security, recordkeeping, or legal obligations.
Additional rights may apply depending on your location and whether the relevant law applies to Office Furniture Flow. We will not discriminate against a reader for making a valid privacy request.
Children and international access
The site is intended for a general adult and workplace audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so the record can be reviewed.
If you access the site from outside the United States, information may be processed in countries where the site or its service providers operate. Their data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy when the site, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The Last reviewed date will be updated, and a material change will be presented with additional notice when appropriate.
For a privacy question or request, use the Contact page, choose Other editorial question, and begin the message with Privacy request.
Amazon affiliate links
Some guides contain Amazon affiliate links. These links include our Associate tracking ID so Amazon can attribute qualifying referrals and purchases. When you follow a link, Amazon receives the request and may use cookies or other technologies under its own privacy notice and your settings.
The affiliate product blocks on this site are ordinary text links. They do not embed Amazon tracking scripts, product images or widgets, and they do not set an Amazon cookie just because you read a guide. We have not added a separate click-tracking service for these blocks.
Our affiliate reports may show referral, ordered-item and commission information. We do not receive your Amazon password or payment details through these links. Review the destination site's privacy notice before submitting information there.
